47.1 Persons violating the requirements of this law are held responsible in the manner prescribed by the law.

Article 48. The day of the elections of the President of the Republic 

48.1 The day of the elections of the President of the Republic is declared as a non- working day.

Article 49. Transitional provision 

49.1 Before the formation of Yerevan City quarter communities, the powers of Yerevan City Community Electoral Commissions are exercised by the District Electoral Commissions, formed according to the acting district division.

Article 50. The coming into force of the law

50.1 This law comes into force from the moment of its publication.

50.2 Connected with this, the "Law on the election for President of the Republic of Armenia" is recognized as void.
