Season's Greetings & Increased quotas

First of all, please accept our Season's Greetings and very best wishes for the New Year.

We are happy to inform you that the Freenet server has been updated to a new powerful one that will be able to provide a better and faster service to increased number of our users.

The good news in connection with this update is that the space quotas on the Armenian Freenet are further increased. The home directory quotas are now 7Mb, and the mail inbox quota is increased to 5Mb, thus making it a total of 12Mb for each Freenet user. We believe that this is enough space to ensure adequate operation of both the email and website services.

On a more sobering note, we would like to advise you not to use up your quotas to the limit unless necessary, regularly clean your mailboxes, and in general, handle your disc space with care to ensure that everyone has equal quality access on the Freenet.

We are working on improving the dialup access, and hope that in the nearest future the quality and accessibility of this service will be enhanced.

With warm wishes for 2003,

Freenet Daemon
